Still I Rise by Yolanda Adams  (At times I feel low, I need to know which way to go; yet still I rise.  Never give up, never give in)

Take My Life – T.D. Jakes (only about 5 minutes even though time says 10)

When I first heard this song, I thought it was odd that the lyrics stated “Brokenness is what I long for.”  I thought, “Who would want that?” But as life went on, I realized that there were aspects of me that I did want broken – my unproductive ways of thinking and behaving; and, yes, my willfulness – always wanting things my way and within my time frame.  I want my old ways to be broken so that new ways of being can emerge.

Here I Am by Tamela Mann

The following three videos by William McDowell are very moving and powerful. I have both “I Give Myself Away” and “Withholding Nothing” in my inspirational song list.  Both remind me to surrender, to be one with the flow of the Divine Presence, to seek FIRST oneness with all Creation, knowing that all will then be manifested in my life. Both songs remind me to be guided in ways in which I can give of myself, ways in which I can let God work through me, ways in which I can be more conscious of letting go and stop blocking the FLOW.  These videos are like a meditation to me, helping me to be aware of the Presence of God surrounding and within me.
